In this EPAF Field School, the students have the ability to work with EPAF in a united effort to spend 3 weeks exploring a range of topics resulting from the internal armed conflict in Peru (1980-2000). During this time, students will interact with EPAF staff, meet representatives from local organizations, as well as public officials. They will also have the opportunity to witness first-hand events “at ground level” in Ayacucho, the area most affected by the armed conflict, during which they will explore issues of memory, development, gender, among others.
