The Field School will be developed from July 1st to July 29th, 2013. In this 4-week field school, students will attend introductory lectures on the Tarama culture and the Chinchaycocha-Cashamarca archaeological site, as well as an introduction to the study of human skeletal remains, including but not limited to human osteology, estimation of sex, age at death, stature and ancestry, an introduction to paleopathology and the study of bone trauma. At the end of the field school, students will prepare a report based on the analysis of a complete skeleton from beginning to end, taking into account the biological profile, pathological condition and trauma.
